Visit your local Pharmacy Sleep Services store today to take action.

Unlike other sleep apnoea programs, Pharmacy Sleep Services utilise a clinically validated, non-invasive home sleep test device to help you feel comfortable while determining whether you have sleep apnoea.

Other programs utilise level 1 or level 2 testing, which requries a GP referral, and is considerably more expensive, invasive and time consuming.

Pharmacy Sleep Services want to make this journey as smooth and as simple as possible in 5 simple steps.

Put Sleep Apnoea to bed in five simple steps

Step 1: Sleep Apnoea Quiz

Wake up to the signs: There are a number of signs and symptoms of sleep apnoea, including snoring, morning headaches, daytime sleepiness, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, and depression. These are often comorbidities of obstructive sleep apnoea, working to compound the severity of the condition.

Pharmacy Sleep Services use two simple screening quizzes – Stop BANG Questionnaire and Epworth Sleepiness Scale – to assess the likelihood of obstructive sleep apnoea. These simple quizzes are accredited screening methods for detecting obstructive sleep apnoea and determine whether you should do a home sleep test.

Step 2: Home Sleep Test

If your results indicate you may have obstructive sleep apnoea, you can book in a home sleep test with the pharmacy right away.

They will guide you through the simple set-up process, which takes only a few minutes. When compared with other methods of sleep testing (referred to as Level 1 and Level 2), the Pharmacy Sleep Services Level 3 testing device does not require a GP referral and is considerably simpler, cheaper, and less invasive, and allows you to sleep in the comfort of your own bed.

Step 3: Results

You can return the home sleep test device to the pharmacy the very next day, and your sleep test data will be scored and assessed by our dedicated sleep physician.

In only 7-10 days you will receive your results. Traditional Level 1 and 2 methods of sleep testing can take many weeks – even months to process.

If your results indicate you have sleep apnoea, you can discuss therapy options with your pharmacist there and then.

With Pharmacy Sleep Services you can put sleep apnoea to bed right away.

Step 4: Four-Week CPAP Therapy Trial

Pharmacies offer a risk-free 4-week trial of both machine and mask to help find the best fit for you.

Pharmacy Sleep Services understand that adapting to therapy can be difficult and that is why your pharmacy will work closely with you to tailor your therapy to you with ongoing, regular follow ups.

Your pharmacist can remotely monitor and change your machine settings as well as observe mask fit to help you get the best out of therapy and start your journey to a better night’s sleep.

Ongoing support

Step 5: Evaluation & Purchase

At the end of the four-week trial period, you and your pharmacist will evaluate how your trial went.

Have your symptoms – morning headaches, daytime tiredness, poor concentration, snoring, among others improved?

If so, your pharmacist can discuss purchase options with you. By purchasing your CPAP equipment in pharmacy this ensures you always have a face to talk to for ongoing support and expert advice.
